Juventus is still fighting to sign Paul Pogba again and is willing to offer three players to Manchester United as part of an agreement to bring him back to Turin.

The Frenchman wants to leave Old Trafford this summer and his former club wants to bring him back to Serie A with a big contract.

Negotiations appear to have made little progress, with Manchester United claiming at least £ 150m for the World Cup winner.

Juventus does not have the funds to make this kind of offer, but tries to get around the huge costs by offering Red Devils Joao Cancelo, Blaise Matuidi and Douglas Costa as part of the deal, reports Corriere dello Sport.

United is still keen to keep Pogba and has not shown interest this summer for Costa, 28, Matuidi, 32, and Cancelo, 25, although they have already been linked to all three.

Having just paid 50 million pounds on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the Red Devils will certainly not be interested in Cancelo's services at the back.

It was reported earlier Thursday that Real Madrid had now given up on taking Pogba to Santiago Bernabeu this year, leaving Juve one of the only realistic candidates remaining in the signing race.

His agent, Mino Raiola, certainly did not rule out a trip to Old Trafford, saying earlier in the week, "There is still nothing. Stay at Manchester United? I live my life day after day, we will see what happens.

"The end of this story has not been written. We are here today, I do not know for tomorrow. "

Pogba has already played for United on their pre-season tour in Australia and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to offer him the club captain position to convince him to stay.
