Tema Metropolitan's former chief executive, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, launched a war cry to rally members and supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) across the country for the victory of the left in 2020.

According to him, "the victory of former President Mahama in 2020 begins now!"

The former ECM said this after submitting its application forms to challenge the NDC's candidacy for Parliament in 2020 in Tema East.

Surrounded by followers of the party, Isaac Ashai Odamtten told reporters on the sidelines of the communication that he had previously declared a political jihad to former president Mahama, saying that the work to win the 2020 had begun for him.

"The best way to defend is to attack; In the current state of affairs, the functions of the incumbent President have almost triumphed over former President Mahama, but this victory is not badured until we have gone so far.

"As I have already promised, I will lead the charge at Tema East here to ensure that the victory is won and it's exactly what will happen from now that the nomination forms will be submitted, "he said.

He added that "we are on the right track and we will do it until John Mahama is sworn in on January 7, 2021".

Stephen Ashitey Adjei, aka Moshake, is a Republican Party leader known for his outspokenness.

"The victory is badured for Mr Odamtten in this primary, but it is not the most important target of course; What is important is to fight the NPP headquarters and that is why it is important that, as he said, we take a leap forward, "said Moshake.

According to him, Odamtten, who became the favorite of the ticket after former Tema MCE, Mr. Kempes Ofosuware, decided not to run, is the best badet of the NDC.

"There is my brother, Edward Bediaku Kraku, who has also launched a challenge, even if this challenge is rather useless, because it is obvious that Tema East NDC, this time, is resolved to present a united front with Odamtten in mind" said Moshake.

Edward Nii Bediaku Tetteh Kraku is a NDC man based in the United States who twice ran the Tema East Constituency ticket without success.

"It is unfortunate to see that my brother is still at risk of wasting money. I hope he will not waste his time, but it is a democracy and he is free to exercise his political rights, "said Moshake.

"The Bible, the Koran and many great philosophers have pointed out that there is a law of karma and that what you throw at the wall will come back to you. Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad, Confucius of China and Swami Prabhupada, all urged us to do to others what you want to do about you, "said Moshake.

He advised Edward Bediaku Kraku to pay attention to the people around him and to push him to challenge.
