Government representatives and media group in Spain to attend Vis-A-Vis festival

Representatives of the Government of Ghana and a group of media men landed in Madrid on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 to cover the Vis-a-Vis festivals of Ghanaian music groups "Kyekyeku" and FRA.

The Vis-a-Vis is a cultural project organized by Spanish public diplomacy Casa África in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and with the collaboration of the Union of Musicians of Ghana (MUSIGA), from the Spanish Embbady in Accra and Ghana. Embbady in Madrid.

This year, Ghana Vis-à-Vis of Ghana with Attractivemustapha.com marks the 10th edition of the Cultural Cooperation Project which aims to generate a better knowledge of African music in Spain and has already taken place in nine other African countries.

To date Vis-a-Vis has visited Senegal (twice), Ethiopia, South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Tanzania and Angola.

"Kyekyeku & FRA" were selected from among 64 groups who applied for an audition as part of the Casa Vis-a-Vis Ghana Espana project.

The two groups that will perform and represent Ghana are expected to promote Ghana during their tour of Spain's most important festivals this month.
