Barcelona loaned Marc Cucurella to Getafe only two days after he returned from Eibar.
Cucurella drew the eye during his loan with Eibar last season and scored in a 2-2 draw in La Liga with Barca in May.
Eibar has decided to sign it for an amount of 2 million euros, but Barca has inserted a buyback clause of 4 million euros in this transaction, which was activated on Tuesday.
Cucurella, who can play as a defender and winger, was linked to the clubs of Sevilla, Real Betis and Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach.
But he will play his football for Getafe in 2019-20 after entering into a temporary agreement with the option of making it permanent.
Cucurella made 31 appearances in La Liga for Eibar last quarter, scoring once.
