It's the moving moment that a nurse sings in front of a boy struggling with cancer in a video that has become viral.

Beth Porch was filmed and played a ukulele while singing "It's all for you" from McFly to three year old Artie Vickerage at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Artie was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called Burkitts lymphoma and has since been in bed for three weeks.

In the hope of making her smile, Ms. Porch picked up a ukulele and sang beside her bed.

The comforting video has been viral since, it has been retweeted over 4,000 times and has even caught the attention of McFly's lead singer, Tom Fletcher.

Ms. Porch is busy with young Artie at the hospital while he was undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment.

Speaking of her son, Mrs. Vickerage said, "It has been so bad and it can be hard to stay positive, but Beth just has a little brightness and she really makes the difference."

Mrs. Vickerage spoke about the moment she discovered a mbad in Archie's stomach and took her to the hospital.

She told Sky News: "I immediately realized that something was wrong.

"I took him to the hospital and we were immediately directed to Great Ormond Street the next day they started treatment.

"With this type of cancer, the size of the tumor can double in 24 hours.

"The one in his stomach was already 11.5 cm, he had fluid in his lungs and a lymph near his heart.

"When you enter, you are told that the treatment is intended to break them but that it must happen to improve them.

Artie's parents described Beth as a "little burst of brightness" in their son's life

"I was not at all prepared for it to be so serious – it's heartbreaking, it's the worst moment of my life."

"You never imagine it would be you, you never think anything like this would happen."

Ms. Porch was shocked after her sung video became viral, claiming that she "was not expecting that to happen."

She told Sky News: "The response to the video was crazy, it does not sound real, I did not expect to go viral.

"It's strange to think that so many people have heard me sing, including great celebrities!

"Tom Fletcher is one of my musical heroes, so saying that he has the voice of an angel has been very overwhelming."

She added, "I started bringing my guitar to a boy who wanted to learn to play but the teacher could not see him regularly, so I played with him all the shifts.

"Then all the other families would hear and soon I would take my guitar from room to room.

"Unfortunately, some patients are attending our unit for end-of-life care, so I've been involved in incredible times with families, creating lasting memories with their children.

"It will only take me an hour or two to learn the patient's favorite song, and that's enough to distract him from his pain and bring him happiness in his last days with his family."

Mrs. Vickerage urged people to sign a petition allowing employees to be away from work to donate stem cells or bone marrow to sick patients like Archie, which could save millions of lives.

The petition, published on the website of the British Parliament, has since collected more than 1,700 signatures.
