Bulgaria has been condemned to partially closes its national stadium for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against England and Czech republic racist behavior of the fans.

UEFA on Friday announced sanctions following incidents of racism in Bulgaria's last two matches in June, at home against Kosovo and elsewhere in the Czech Republic.

For the incident against the Czech Republic, Bulgaria was asked to win 5,000 places at the Vasil Levski stadium unavailable for supporters for the October 14th clash with England.

In the empty space, the Bulgarian Football Union has been invited to post a "#EqualGame " Banner of the UEFA.

The same banner will be in place for the match of 17 November against the Czech Republic, with 3000 seats reserved for supporters as punishment for the behavior in the game of Kosovo.

UEFA has closed the disciplinary proceedings against Latvia for racist behavior during their clash with Israel last month, but the Romanian U21 team will see at least 2,000 seats closed for their next home game.

This comes after the racist behavior of supporters in last month's UEFA European Under-21 Championship win over Croatia, and the Romanian Football Federation has fined 2,000 euros because of fireworks and thrown objects.

UEFA also sentences Greece to a fine € 63,500 and Ukraine € 15,250 for offenses, including the triggering of fireworks.

The Greece-Italy match of 8 June was also marked by a late send-off, for which disciplinary procedure against head coach Angelos Anastasiadis were closed.
