The Ghana Table Tennis Federation selects athletes for the African Games

The Ghana Table Tennis Federation (GTTF) has selected 12 athletes for the 12th African Games to be held from 19 to 31 August in Rabat, Morocco this year.

The selected athletes were selected during an inclusion exercise, organized by the GTTF three weeks ago.

The 12 athletes representing Ghana at table tennis are: Emmanuel Commey, Derek Abrefa, Félix Lartey, Samuel Akayade, Bernard Joe Sam, Emmanuel Asante, Cynthia Kwabi, Linda Annor, Eva Adom-Amankwa, Celia Baah-Danso, Augustine Baidoo and Hilda Agbotta.

Ghana would participate in 18 disciplines: football, weightlifting, table tennis, badminton, cycling and hockey.

The multipurpose competition of the continent would be organized in the cities of Sale, Rabat, Temara, Casablanca, El Jadida, Mohammedia and Benslimane.

The Africa Games are held every four years and the last edition was organized by Congo Brazzaville.
