"When I was 30, I started to think about it, as you do when you think about next steps. If I look back, there was no "ding" moment as such. I've had a lot of managers who have really influenced me. I absolutely respected the way they worked with me and in a group.
"Jose Mourinho, I talked a lot about his first visit and what he did for me, more mentally than tactically or physically. There have been innumerable managers, without naming them all, who have given me moments on and off the pitch, which have made me think that it could be of great interest to me.
