Peppa Pig launches her first album and be warned – it's more addictive than Baby Shark

Parents of young children, rejoice / shudder with fear / invest in decent earplugs – Peppa Pig publishes his first album.

It was only a matter of time before the hugely popular cartoon pig was trying to dominate the charts.

The question is whether the 16-track album, which is scheduled for the 15th anniversary of the show – is it good?

Initial reactions suggest that musical offerings are more addictive than Baby Shark, which is both laudable and slightly terrifying – and social media users talk about it.

Tracks include the Bing Bong Zoo, Super Potato's Theme and Jumping In Muddy Puddles, with Peppa's voice, Harley Bird, appearing on a number of singles.

The release of the album falls the same year that Beyonce and Iggy Azalea publish new songs – a fact that has not been forgotten by fans.

In fact, Iggy was even involved in an "enmity" on Twitter with the official account of Peppa Pig.
