Martin Amidu is a special prosecutor

He wishes Martin Amidu to consider invoking such powers under the law that establishes his office, explaining that it is criminal for anyone not to heed an invitation or a request. a request from the office.
Mr. Amidu had also alleged that other state institutions had deliberately tried to prevent his office from conducting parallel investigations, but Mr. Short wanted all institutions with powers to investigate. The investigation signs a memorandum of understanding specifying who was handling the cases to avoid duplication.
At the same time, Vitus Azeem, former executive director of the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), wants the Special Prosecutor to have a frame of reference on the cases he is dealing with. concentrated.
According to him, Martin Amidu should be able to decide whether he will be interested alone in corruption cases or cases for which he is the subject of a petition.
