We are back! The International Champions Cup continues as Bayern Munich face Real Madrid in Houston, Texas. The Bavarians had a tough start in pre-season, bowing 2-1 against Arsenal a few days ago, but the performance was not so bad that Niko Kovac and his men are hoping to take advantage of it in this match to come.
Real Madrid, for its part, has a bunch of new recruits that it will want to try – especially Eden Hazard. As for Bayern, the only new rookies likely to participate will be Benjamin Pavard and Jann-Fiete Arp, who both showed a good reputation in the first match against Arsenal. In addition, we may see Alphonso Davies and Renato Sanches, none of whom made an appearance in the previous match.
As we are still in pre-season, it is difficult to remove too much. However, we hope that the team will be serious about a potential candidate in the Champions League, and we will come out of the match with a win.
