Marvel, shmarvel: Shortly after the MCU programmed 10 giant projects, DC's Harley Quinn was swinging in search of his own moment of glory. On Saturday night, DC Universe presented the first trailer of the nasty animated series to the SDCC panel of the streaming service. Previously at the NYCC, the show had received a small teaser, which nevertheless crossed the fourth wall with an oversized hammer.
Harley Quinn is an adult comedy that focuses on Harley after his breakup with the Joker and his own attack, joining the arms of Poison Army and a disordered crew of DC attackers, including names such as Catwoman and The Scarecrow. This new trailer features more of Gotham's animation, the colorful villains of Batman comics and even the Caped Crusader himself.
The Big Bang TheoryS Kaley Cuoco starred Harley Quinn, with Lake Bell (Children's Hospital) like Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk (Firefly) like the Joker, and Tony Hale (Arrested development) as a Psycho Doctor. Wanda Sykes, Ron Funches and Jason Alexander also play unspecified roles.
