The first match of Eden Hazard in the colors of Real Madrid has ended in a defeat on Saturday.

The La Liga players were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in Houston, despite the fact that the Bundesliga champions finished the match with 10 men after goalkeeper Sven Ulreich was sent off.

Corentin Tolisso, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabr were all on Bayern's match sheet, Rodrygo getting Real consolation.

The only setback for Bayern was the dismissal of Ulreich nine minutes from the end, after the fall of Rodrygo.

It was a new Real look, with Hazard not the only new face while Rodrygo, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy also made their club debut for Zinedine Zidane's team.

Hazard had a discreet start, despite all his efforts, the Belgian failed to make an impact on the friendly match, which is part of the series of the International Champions Cup.

Hazard joined Madrid in June from Chelsea.

Madrid will be the next player on Tuesday against Arsenal in Washington.
