Comic Con: Marvel reveals Blade, Shang Chi and a Thor woman

Marvel has announced an exceptional harvest of 10 new superhero movies at Comic Con.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, along with dozens of Hollywood stars, has revealed the list of post-Avenger films at a stunned hall in San Diego.

Many attendees at the world 's largest pop culture fan convention had moved to book a place for the event.

One of the main surprises was the announcement of Mahershala Ali, winner of an Oscar, in the role of Blade, the vampire hunter, role played by Wesley Snipes in the 1998 film.

There was applause and shouting as Ali appeared in front of the stage to reveal that he would play the role of the walker.

Natalie Portman will play a Thor woman

Natalie Portman has confirmed her return to a fourth Thor – Thor film: Love and Thunder – taking over her role as Jane Foster, but this time holding the power of the hammer Thor.

"I feel very good, I've always had a small desire for a hammer," Portman told the crowd thrilled after receiving the hammer from director Taika Watiti.

Shang-Chi

The first Asian superhero movie of Asian origin, Shang-Chi, has also been announced, and we now know who will play the lead role. After months of casting, Kevin Feige announced that Canadian actor Simu Liu was playing the role of the master of Kung Fu just a few days ago.

Shang-Chi, who was born to a Chinese father and an American mother, first appeared in Marvel comics almost 50 years ago.

Shang-Chi and Legends of the Ten Rings will also be performed by Awkwafina actress Crazy Rich Asians.

Black Widow

After months of speculation, Marvel finally confirmed the first details of the much anticipated Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff.

The film has been in production for 30 days with a trailer showing the first scenes of Budapest.

Johansson told the panel, "I play Natasha as a fully realized woman, in all its facets."

A number of Marvel series have also been announced and would be available on the new Disney + streaming service, including Loki and Hawkeye.

Feige concluded the meeting by telling an enthusiastic audience that he had no time to talk about a host of other films.

"We did not mention that we realize Black Panther 2, we did not mention the fact that Guardian of the Galaxies 3 is coming.

"We did not have time to talk about Captain Marvel 2, and I did not have time to talk about Fantastic 4 and we do not have time to talk about Mutants," he told a delighted crowd.
