A 18-year-old debutant had a great free kick in his first appearance at Spanish giant Real Madrid.
By facing Bayern Munich in a pre-season friendly match, Brazilian Rodrygo Goes has announced his name to fans of Los Blancos with a powerful curling effort in the top corner.
The free kick was won by Rodrygo after Bayern goalkeeper Sven Ulreich knocked him out, who was sent off and quickly replaced by young Ron-Torben Hoffmann.
Real recruited Rodrygo from Brazilian club Santos last year for £ 40m, but he joined the team only this summer.
The teenager was replaced in the second half in the International Champions Cup match, which also included the first minutes of the first minute for Eden Hazard, the former Chelsea striker, who made his important transfer to Bernabeu the month latest.
Unfortunately for Real, Rodrygo's superb strike in the 84th minute was only a consolation as Bayern beat La Liga 3-1.
The goals of Corentin Tolisso, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry had allowed the Bundesliga champions to win three points in front of the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The German club will then face AC Milan while Real plays at Arsenal while the American tour continues.
