President Nana Akufo-Addo will resume her national tour on Tuesday, July 23, this time in the central and western regions.
The visit allowed the president to interact with citizens, stakeholders and opinion leaders, to inspect ongoing development projects and to proceed with preparatory work.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah told reporters on Sunday that the president will start his tour in Shama, western region, where he will fire for the second phase of the expansion works. A plant called Twyford Ltd.
The president will also commission gas projects in Ghana at Esiama, meet with chiefs and residents at city council meetings, and cut grbad for the Axim landing beach and start work. on the roads of the city of Prestea before leaving for the central region.
In the central region, President Akufo-Addo will cut for the construction of a fish landing beach at Moree and travel to Durbars with chiefs and locals, including fishermen.
The president will return to Accra on Saturday after the Panafest festivities at Cape Coast Stadium.
These are the seventh and eight regions that the president will visit in 2019.
It aims to give the President "the opportunity to hear directly from the public and commit to the rest of the agenda of the administration".
