An audio recording of the British and Iranian naval authorities that issued instructions to a British flag tanker just before its seizure in the Strait of Hormuz, surfaced.
In this radio exchange, one can hear what it is believed to be an Iranian ship telling a British Royal Navy frigate that she wished to inspect the Stena Impero for security reasons and ordering her to "modify his way".
The British side reacted quickly by warning that under international law the pbading of the ship "should not be prevented".
The tanker captured by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is now at the center of a growing conflict between Iran and Britain.
