Qantas significantly reduces its rates around the world. The airline expects its cheap flights will change the summer vacation plans of Australians.
The airline has just launched its "Around the World in 8 Days" sale covering its national and international network, in all cabins.
The airline is preparing to unveil discount flights to a new global destination every day over the next week in all international regions of the Qantas network.
The sale began today with flights at $ 99 on several domestic routes, including Sydney to Gold Coast, Melbourne to Launceston and Brisbane to Hervey Bay.
Aimed at Australian travelers looking to lock in their summer vacation plans, the airline is selling fares for certain dates from August 2019 to March 2020, most of which are available during the summer period.
The tip of the Gold Coast will be more popular than ever this summer, as the airline is increasing its capacity at the vacation spot with the addition of more than 1,800 seats a week from November and March.

Approximately 700 additional seats per week will be available between Melbourne and the Gold Coast between November 2019 and March 2020. These additional seats will be available by adding two services each week, Mondays and Saturdays, in addition to Qantas' existing daily services. Melbourne's Gold Coast selling rates start at $ 119.
More than 1100 additional seats per week will be available for customers traveling between Sydney and the Gold Coast between December 2019 and January 2020, with more ad hoc flights and aircraft upgraded from a Boeing 717 to a larger 737 some days.
