Let's face it: we can not do without Marvel superheroes. And with Tony Stark and Black Widow dead and Steve Rogers having grown old as he was hearing it in a revised timeline afterAvengers: End of the gameWe only have half of the Original Six Avengers left. Fortunately, there is good news on this front: we are about to have more Thor. Here is what we know about the fourth movie in the God of Thunder franchise, including who will participate in the action.
Marvel is a supporter of trilogies
When the MCU started, fans only had a few years to learn in addition to the big team movies such as The Avengers, some of our central heroes will have their own trilogies, starting with an original story. This pattern played for Iron Man and Captain America, although his third film was rather an ensemble film.
It seemed that Thor would receive the same treatment. However, after the immense success and the change of tone and direction, Thor: Ragnarok, the rumor began to spread that a fourth film of Thor was in preparation.
The announcement was made at Comic-Con
The most important announcements of Marvel Studios are often held at San Diego Comic-Con, and this year was no exception. Among several other new projects, the title Thor: love and thunder, which drew intense acclaim from the crowd.
We can badume that a few people played a determining role in this decision. Chris Hemsworth's participation was essential – we had badumed at one point that Valkyrie would be the new Thor, but we had doubts about whether they would make a Thor flip through without Hemsworth. Moreover, if Ragnarok The director Waititi was not ready, we can not see that Marvel executed the plans.
Here is what we know about Thor: love and thunder
Like Marvel, we did not learn much about Comic-Con's upcoming film. However, we know that it is currently scheduled for release on November 5, 2021, which means it is not in production yet.
In addition to Hemsworth and Waititi (presumably also taking over his role as Korg), two more Thor the favorites are back: Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster). And, if it turns out that the latter will lose the title of Thor (in one way or another).
What about Loki?
There remains a big question in the minds of the fans: Thor's brother, Loki, the god of malice, will he make an appearance in the film? There are a few things to consider here.
On the one hand, this will be where the movie takes place. We would badume the Earth since that is where Valkyrie and Jane are. But Thor, to the fans' knowledge, accompanies Guardians of the Galaxy Avengers: End of the game. And where is Loki?
That's an excellent question – and we have no answer to give you. The last time we saw it, Loki was sneaking in with an Infinity stone in 2012. We also saw it locked up in Asgard in 2011. So there is a lot of logistics to consider, including the busy schedule of actor Tom Hiddleston with his own Disney + series, Loki.
