The director of Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti, revealed that he was still in discussion with James Rodriguez about a potential transfer.
The Colombian has been the subject of a long saga of transfers this summer, with a release of Real Madrid more likely than his departure to Santiago Bernabeu.
Napoli has close ties with the 28-year-old this summer, and Ancelotti is on the hunt for the midfield saying, "We're still talking to James, a player I love very much.
"I am very attached to James, I consider him very well and he can certainly improve our team."
