They watched the Spice Girls demolish the house as they recoiled in front of crowded stadiums while cashing in millions of dollars.
But there seems to be no desire for Girls Aloud to reignite her tour bus.
Kimberley Walsh warned fans not to expect a meeting as soon as rumors had run that a tour was being planned.
The star, 37, said hello! Magazine, the band would not follow in the footsteps of the Spice Girls.
She said the five rooms needed more time before "these feelings" could bring them back together.
Kimberley said: "There is no Girls Aloud meeting on the cards yet.
"The Spice Girls had a phenomenal career, but this one was very short, over four or five years.
"We literally lived and breathed, so I think it takes more time for anyone to feel like we're coming together."
The Spice Girls meeting this summer may have opened another door.
They are planning a six-week stay in Las Vegas – an agreement that could earn them £ 4 million each.
The concerts are scheduled to take place in the summer of 2021, after promoters of the tour, AEG, spoke with the group's management, Modest, last week.
Mirror Online has revealed this weekend that it could win if the talks ran smoothly after the success of its UK broadcasts.
A source revealed, "The girls are very keen to tour again and there has been a lot of talk about a Las Vegas residency.
"They agreed that they could all engage in a six-week race during the summer holidays, when the children will no longer be at school.
Mel B has already hinted that they are ready for more.
When asked if they would continue to tour, Scary said, "We're going to do more and I do not care what people say."
