Paul Hollywood will not pay his wife's divorce claims £ 5 million.

Their divorce was done and dusted in a few seconds on Friday as their marriage of almost 20 years officially ended.

But it seems that the Financial Regulation will take much longer to be signed.

District Judge Robert Duddridge delivered a divorce judgment at a hearing in the Central Family Court in London. Neither party was present at the hearing, which ended as quickly as it began.

Judge Duddridge granted a nisi decree and published papers indicated that the divorce had been granted for reasons related to the adult.

The cookbook writer, Alex, told Prima magazine that the split had hit her violently.

She said, "No one should underestimate how separation and divorce can hit you.

"I'm comparing this to a time when you drive along the highway, and then at the next moment something happens that's out of your control and you're driving in a completely different direction.

"You have to give yourself time to concentrate."

She added, "Divorce is difficult, very difficult, you do not expect that, you're in shock, and suddenly you're alone.

"I have been married for 20 years, but you continue."
