President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will resume her national tours on Tuesday, July 23 with a visit to the central and western regions.
The president's tour gives him the opportunity to interact with citizens, stakeholders and opinion leaders, inspect current development projects and cut grbad for new projects.
Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister of Information, at a press conference held in Accra on Sunday, said that the president would begin the tour on Tuesday, July 23 in Shama, in the western region, with a grbad cutting ceremony for the start of the work. The expansion plant is working on a company called Twiford Limited.
The president will also be commissioning gas projects in Ghana in Esiama, meeting with leaders and people at public meetings, and cutting grbad for a fish landing in Axim.
As a result, President Akufo-Addo will save money on the start of work on the roads of the city of Prestea before leaving for the central region.
In the central region, the president will cut the construction of a fish landing beach in Moree and join the chiefs and residents of some fishing communities in Durbars.
The president will return to Accra on Saturday after the Panafest festivities at Cape Coast Stadium.
The tour of the seventh and eighth regions this year is intended to give the President the opportunity to hear the people first hand and commit to the rest of the agenda of the administration.
