A new suitor has emerged to sign Arsenal's summer transfer target, while Gareth Bale has been seen to come up with a crazy financial deal to get to China, according to Monday's newspapers.
BAYERN EMERGES AS MAIN ZAHA CONTAINERS
Bayern Munich appears as a surprise candidate for the first target of Arsenal Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.
The German giants reportedly turned their attention to the 26-year-old after failing to reach Manchester City winger Leroy Sane and Real Madrid player Gareth Bale.
The Ivorian international has made it clear that he wants to leave Selhurst Park this summer, and is now turning to the Gunners, his favorite destination.
However, Arsenal's initial offer of 40 million pounds on the former Man Utd striker was well below Zaha's 80 million pound palate, leaving the door open to other clubs.
Bayern is looking for wing after letting go of veteran duo Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. He has also been badociated with an initiative by Chelsea's talented young player, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
However, a report on 90min states that the German giants are ready to investigate Zaha, though they are not ready, like Arsenal, to offer the strong price to the palace for the attacker.
This is not the first time that Bayern is interested in Zaha, after also considering a move for winger pacy last summer.
As for the Gunners, they will have to sell first before they can think of increasing their bid for Unai Emery's first target: Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi, Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson are all supposed to be for sale.
