She further stated that she would have issued a warrant for arrest against them if it was ordinary citizens.

The lawyers for the alleged murder suspect, Gregory Afoko, initiated contempt proceedings demanding that the two top police officials be punished for refusing to release Afoko, even though they met the conditions for release. on bail laid down by the High Court in March 2019.

Judge Dodoo decided on July 22 to make her decision after the absence of the president of the PGI and the CID.

However, on Monday at 3 pm, when the case was called to appear, the directors of the IGP and the CID were not present.

Joy News sources said the case had been postponed until October 10.
