Chris Pratt's t-shirt: do fans panic but react excessively?

The things that celebrities wear are almost as much a subject of attention as their actions or movies. It's sometimes as innocuous as a T-shirt at a time when these t-shirts can send a powerful message in one simple sentence.

When this is badociated with a possible white supremacy, you will raise a lot of … well, red flags. In this case, it was Chris Pratt who was recently seen wearing a t-shirt with a notorious graphic variation of the American flag.

This design has a prominent rattlesnake across the flag with a message "Do not step on me" below. Formerly known in history under the Gadsden flag, modern white supremacists have adopted the insignia, dragging Pratt into a controversial territory in which he has never been.

Is he sending a message or making a lot of noise for nothing?

When did Pratt wear this t-shirt?

The media did not really follow this trend, probably because a million titles dominated the news of the summer. However, some media have spoken with many critics.

Pratt was seen wearing the shirt by the middle of this month as he was walking with his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

While we all know that Pratt is known as one of the friendliest and most down-to-earth villagers in Hollywood, SheKnows reported that he was wearing the t-shirt and even posted a photo as evidence.

Seeing it, it could initially disturb those who already know the groups of white supremacists use this logo for a while. SheKnows even went so far as to post on Twitter many spontaneous responses from Pratt fans. You will wince when you read them.

Pratt may be losing fans because of this, unless he can give a reasonable explanation. Fortunately, a historical context can be placed on the logo without him having to explain anything.

Pratt's Conservative Policy Made It an Easy Target

Chriss Pratt was criticized this week for being dressed in a t-shirt depicting the Gadsden Flag, a historic flag whose meaning goes back to the American Revolution.

In recent times, everyone is on the lookout for signs of those who support white supremacy because of some supporters of the presidency, rather than doing it openly. Although they are still a problem, most people would say it fervently when those who really support these racist views are getting bolder and bolder.

As Pratt is thought to be part of the small minority of Hollywood who identifies as conservative, any badociation with the far right is freaking out his most ardent supporters. He never said openly if he did, but he clearly identifies with many conservative belief systems.

Seeing Pratt wearing this t-shirt has put some of his fans in panic, he unreservedly supports white power to the right.

In truth, history and badociations with flag badges are more than enough to calm fears.

TThe flag is usually worn symbolically to reflect history and independence

What is known as the Gadsden flag (named after Brigadier General of the Continental Army, Christopher Gadsden) was originally used during the independence war to designate independence from the British before our official statement.

Some recent non-white supremacist groups have adopted it symbolically, including the American men's football team. These people and these people usually wear the shirt only to represent individualism.

More than likely, Pratt wore the t-shirt as a fashion statement, or perhaps to denote his own independence in politics. He could be a half-liberal and half-conservative independent. This seems to match his personality depending on how he lived.

We also know that his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is a moderate conservative. As they got along well, one must think that they are doing the same thing in politics, including Katherine.

Thinking about things like this first should become a top priority, no matter if our more visual culture forces us to make informed decisions.
