The National Democratic Congress (NEC) will begin Wednesday from Wednesday to consider candidates to parliament across the country.
Last week, the party closed the nominations for those who intend to run in the 275 constituencies.
NDC Election Director Elvis Afriyie Ankrah told Citi News that the various petitions presented by injured parties would be dealt with on the merits of the cases presented.
"Some candidates have difficulties and therefore have the opportunity to draft a petition to the Functional Executive Committee through the Secretary-General and each issue will be examined objectively and on its merits and the decision will be made. There will be a selection process involving voters, regions and countries, "said Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.
The party believes that the process of selecting and ranking nominations has generally been successful, but incidents have been recorded in some places, such as the Asawase constituency.
Allegations of sabotage by Mubarick Masawudu supporters, who wanted to participate in the primaries, were controversial.
Mubarick Masawudu was unable to submit his candidacy forms on Friday.
Some of his supporters burned vehicle tires in protest, but the Executive Committee of the function (FEC) urged these people to apply.
