Black Lightning There was a huge surprise in store for the fans during the last season of season two as it was revealed that Agent Odell was guarding Khalil's body in a pod.
Khalil, aka Painkiller, has apparently been killed during the season, but it seems like he'll be back in the third season. Talk to Digital Spy and another press at Comic-Con, Jordan Calloway gave an indication of what we can expect from him.
"You're going to see something different at home that's going to be … it's going to be … I can not give you guys too much, I really want it, but I can not." will come back a little different, I can tell you that, "he explained.
"It will probably look a little older, maybe it's what it is."

China Anne McClain also mentioned the "different" line and explained how this could affect her character's relationship with Jennifer: "Khalil is coming back different, so I do not really know how this is going to happen, but I do not know they're going to be more involved romantically. "
More intriguing, Calloway hinted that Agent Odell (Bill Duke) would be the main villain of the season.

Black Lightning returns to the CW in the United States on October 21st and will return to Netflix in the UK on October 22nd.
