He is also seeking an order "prohibiting Afful-Broni from continuing to interfere in the administration of Professor Mawutor Avoke, the legitimate Vice-Chancellor of the UEW".

Context

In 2017, the High Court of Winneba ordered Professor Avoke to withdraw until a case was brought against him and the University's governing board decided.

The Governing Council subsequently dismissed Avoke and replaced him with Professor Afful-Broni.

Professor Avoke's lawyers, in November 2018, wrote a letter to the school's board asking him to prepare their client's office to allow him to resume his duties after his alleged exemption from the Supreme Court.

The board of directors however supported Professor Afful-Broni despite accusations of victimization, injustice and other actions that would have discredited the professor. image of the university.
