A future bride who claims that her fiancé sold her house to "get the perfect ring" was humiliated by netizens who said it looked like "fancy jewelery".
The unnamed woman from the United States posted a photo of her "purple diamond" shaped flower ring on Monday with the band "Sounds good, I'm her ring".
Anticipating a skeptical response, the future bride said "Yes, it's real and custom-made" and "it's a purple diamond, look for it" next to the cliché.
She then revealed that she and her new fiancé had sold their house in order to pay for the engagement ring.
The future bride wrote, "We sold our house to get the perfect ring. It's a purple diamond, look at it.
"No shampoo! I work in the retail business, which really has nothing to do with my nails, I'm just lazy and I paint them every three months."
But social media users have not been impressed by the engagement ring. The writing that was made of it looks like "a part of a fairy dress costume."
One user said, "Why would you sell your house for a ring? Leave a ring that looks like a fairy costume."
Another commented: "I think your finger has an allergic reaction to everything that is ugly".
And a third added, "Can you recover the house?
"What little cake did you find on ??? I did not see it in Greggs," commented another.
Others were convinced that this controversial message was a joke. A social media user wrote, "You sold your house ?! It's a satire, I refuse."
Another said: "It's a joke, either that or problems far more serious than the ring.Selling a house for a ring? Good luck in life. You desperately need it."
"I would love to have the clear privilege of selling a house for a ring, and even better, a house that looks like a disgusting offshoot of Claire."
"I appreciate however a good joke – it's all that can be."
