Dwamena got a loan for the season from Levante to Zaragoza
Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena is about to rediscover his best form in his new club, Real Zaragoza.
Dwamena got a loan of the season in Zaragoza from Levante and quickly became the fan favorite, just two games away from their pre-season campaign.
In the first pre-season game of the Spanish team Segunda División against Peña Ferranca, Dwamena scored five goals in goal thanks to a 13-0 win for Zaragoza.
In the next pre-season match against Boltaña, Dwamena had to settle for a spot on the bench, but he had an amazing effect: he scored four times and counted two more for his teammates with a 19 victory. -0 for his team.
The player, in both cases, went on Facebook to offer updates to his fans and thank God.
Raphael Dwamena hopes his nine goals scored in just two matches are a sign that he is ready to turn the corner after a disappointing year.
The Black Stars striker has received rave reviews at FC Zurich, scoring 13 times and helping 12 more in his last season for the Swiss club.
This beautiful form seemed to have earned him to be transferred to the Premier League club, Brighton, who was ready to set aside 10 million pounds for the striker, but the deal failed after the failure of a medical examination.
He then moved to Levante where he struggled to find his best form, being relegated to 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring only one goal.
Dwamena also made eight appearances with the Black Stars, scoring two goals, but did not join the group for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
He hopes that an impressive season with his new team will put him back in the running for a spot on the national team.
