News about transfers from Man Utd: the sports director talks about the future of Bruno Fernandes

Marcel Keizer, coach of Sporting, admits that the club will have difficulty replacing the "quality" of Bruno Fernandes if Manchester United completes the contract of the midfielder.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperately needs a central midfielder, identifying Newcastle's Fernandes and Sean Longstaff as key targets early in the summer.

The Red Devils are preparing an offer in the region of £ 50 million for Fernandes, but Sporting president Frederico Varandas has warned that this figure is far from their badessment of the 24-year-old.

"It's the president who decides, not me," he told the airport before their flight to the United States.
