The National Media Commission ruled on the case between the Government of Ghana and the multimedia group

In the end, the commission discovered that the documentary was a misleading play and was a misrepresentation of the facts.

After months of hearings, the Commission stated the following:

"The investigation did not comply with the ethical standards set by the Ghana Journalists Association Code of Ethics, including guidelines 23 which state that a journalist shall ensure that photographs and multimedia content adequately reflect a event and do not show an impact out of context.

This resulted from the fact that if the respondent had used a photo of a BBC report about an attack on the Nigerian Senate to promote the documentary online, they had not reported it properly.

Again, the inclusion of Ayawaso West wuogon violence shots and Ashanti regional security coordinator's attack was at odds with the activities of the captured D-Eye group like the castle.

The commission concluded that there was no predisposition to violence in the documentary. Therefore, the badociation of the D-Eye group with Ayawaso West Wuogon Violence and the history of the BBC from Nigeria were sensational.

The holding company further stated that:

The commentary on the documentary and the badociation with Ayawaso West Violence was misleading and was a misrepresentation. They asked the Multimedia group to publish the full decision of the commission since it had published the Government's reply.
