Critical error in VLC Media Player

The newly discovered bug, indexed CVE-2019-13615, exists in version 3.0.7.1 of VLC Media Player – the latest version of the application and has been clbadified by the Confederation CERT as the second level of warning the highest of CERT. The developer of VLC Media Player, the non-profit organization VideoLAN, is currently working on a patch claiming to be 60% complete. The company has been working on the solution for four weeks, according to its bug report.
