Isaac Asiamah Budget Face.jpeg Minister of Sports, Isaac Asiamah

It seems that Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has silenced his already distorted image with his presentation of the CAN 2019 budget on Wednesday.

The sports minister was attacked for using taxpayers' money for air transport supporters, most of whom would be infantrymen.

In accordance with parliamentary principles, Isaac Asiamah, who has been surprisingly quiet since the failed CAN campaign, appeared before Parliament today to report on everything that was spent at the tournament.

The minister revealed that the budget allocated to the tournament amounted to $ 6,365,033.84. A colossal amount of USD 4,564,352 was spent on training until the CAN exit.

The minister, breaking down spending, revealed that $ 1,489,432 million had been spent to earn bonuses, while the country had won only one game.

Isaac Asiamah also denied allegations that the government has sponsored supporters during an excursion to Egypt, saying the tour was organized by CAF and FIFA.

Some Ghanaians expressed their amazement and disbelief at the figures quoted by the minister, wondering why a person who, in opposition, would become a crusader for the protection of public finances would watch for such "waste" of Ghanaian money.

Nana Agyemang, a former coach and sports specialist at Okwahu United, explicitly denied the minister's claims that CAF organized excursions for supporters.

Below the comments of some Ghanaians
