Ms. Dzifa Abla Gomashie, former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts of Creation, declared her intention to challenge the primaries of the National Democratic Parliament in the Ketu-South constituency in the Volta region.

Confirming her ambitions as an MP on Okay FM's "Best Entertainment Show," she described the seat as being divinely designed. She explained that both her parents are from Ketu and that, contrary to speculation, she lives in Accra and in Anglo, where she is Mamma Dzramedo, queen mother in charge of the protocol in the traditional zone Aflao.

She confirmed that she picked up forms and filled the post on the radio show. In a previous statement, Ms. Dzifa Abla Gomashie said:

"At the conclusion of consultations, I made the determined decision to present myself as a willing and able candidate to the Ketu-South Parliament's seat on the NDC's list of candidates. It is a divine decision and a divine decision that I am a woman because the women did not represent us in Parliament in the constituencies along the southern coast of the Volta. "

Ms. Gomashie urged delegates to choose her as the best woman for the position and promised to make the development of gender equality and positive discrimination conditions essential to the progress of society.

She believes that her election to Parliament will inspire many young women and men in the pursuit of her human development mission. Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, former and former Deputy Minister of Finance, decided to no longer compete for the seat.
