Miss Ghana 2019 winners
The winners of Miss Ghana 2019 said they were not afraid of trolls calling them "ugly".
According to them, it gave them a lot of publicity since people constantly visited their different pages when the whole problem started. Therefore, the trolls have rather favored them.
In an interview with GHOne TV based in Accra, Sarah Odei Amoani and Deborah Opoku Sarfo, respectively vice-finalists, said that they felt that beauty should not be limited to what you see physically.
When asked if she would stop representing Ghana at Miss World, Miss Ghana 2019, Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi said, "I am beautiful, confident and very capable of representing Ghana at Miss World. Nothing can stop me. "
Sarah Odei Amoani, the first runner up, however, noted that the bad photos that circulated on social networks could result from poor quality phones used by customers of the series.
She then added that Ghanaians should stop using negative reports to get people off, but rather know how to represent theirs.
