Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named a strong starting team for the final match of the American tour against Sporting Lisbon tonight.

Seven members of the team that started the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur – as well as two of the substitutes – were included for the clash at Yankee Stadium in New York.

With Alisson Becker still on hiatus, Simon Mignolet continues to score. Trent Alexander-Arnold's defense, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson is the one that finished last season.

In the middle of the field, captain Jordan Henderson is joined by Fabinho and James Milner.

However, with the usual trio of players who have not yet resumed their training, Divock Origi leads again the line with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gini Wijnaldum who should play on the flanks.

The summer rookie Sepp van den Berg finally got his international approval and is a substitute, while Adam Lallana sits on the bench after being injured during the defeats of Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Mignolet; Alexander Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Milner; Wijnaldum, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain. Subs: Lonergan, Atherton, Lovren, Gomez, Lallana, Brewster, Kent, Lewis, Phillips, Jones, Hoever, Duncan, Woodburn, Wilson and Van den Berg.
