Ho, July 24, GNA – The National
The Identification Authority (NIA) Ghana card registration exercise made
progress after technical problems missed the first day.
Checks by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at
Some registration centers located in the municipality of Ho indicate that most of the
applicants were able to go through the five steps for registration and
cards issued at the end of the first and second days.
Mr. Maxwell Kumi, Head of Registration
Officer (SRO) at the SSNIT Registration Center in Ho, told the GNA that a total of 60
the cards were recorded on day one and three spoiled cards saved due to
inaccurate data of the candidates.
He said that only eight cards were issued at
candidates on 44 cards printed the first day, the others did not succeed in
to present themselves to recover their cards.
He said that his outfit was intended to record
about 60 candidates a day.
At the registration center of Stadium Gate, the
SRO refused to speak to GNA, but waiting applicants were very busy
going through the exercise, some collecting their maps of Ghana, having
successfully pbaded the steps.
