FRANK LAMPARD is facing a squad headache after Paris St. Germain have pulled out of a move for Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Blues boss has a lot of non-homegrown players in his team with the transfer deadline day fast approaching.
According to Goal, PSG have ended their pursuit of Bakayoko, 24, as they are closing in on Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
And that is leaving Lampard with a surplus of foreign players at Stamford Bridge.
Uefa rules require clubs to register no more than 17 non-homegrown players for the competition.
But Chelsea have just added American Christian Pulisic winger to their squad.
And the Blues have decided to make Mateo Kovacic's permanent loan move.
Therefore, some of Lampard's aces may be omitted from the squad for the Champions League.
Kurt Zouma, Michy Batshuayi, Davide Zappacosta and Kenedy are also in danger of missing out on Euro fixtures.
Bakayoko, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan.
PSG's take-out of interest
