GCB donates 16.9 million GH ¢ to the government

The GCB Bank paid the government a dividend of 16.9 million GHS for the 2018 financial year.

The check was presented to Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, Minister of Finance by GCB Bank General Manager, Mr. Anselm Ray Sowah, at a short ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

Mr. Ofori-Atta congratulated GCB Bank for outstanding performance and meeting expectations.

He added that the GCB Bank plays a key role in national development and provided badurances that the government would continue to work in partnership with the Bank and leverage GCB's extensive branch network to promote financial inclusion.

Mr. Sowah said GCB will continue to deliver on its core mandate of providing high quality financial solutions and will continue to provide support to businesses across all sectors of the economy to contribute to economic growth.
