President Akufo-Addo is committed to ensuring the autonomy of the Ajumako campus of the University of Winneba Education (STE).

This follows a call by Ajumako leaders Enyan Essiam to the President to convert the former "Ghana Language Institute" into a full-fledged university dedicated to the study of local and foreign languages ​​as well as Ghanaian culture to equip Ghanaians with relevant knowledge in their communication with the outside world while enjoying their culture.

President Akufo-Addo, who hailed the chief's call as a great idea, is also committed to ensuring the realization of this dream, which will serve a major development goal.

Addressing Breman Essiam in the district of Ajumako Enyan Essiam, in the Central Region, President Akufo-Addo pledged to abide by all his election promises in favor of Ghanaians and urged Ghanaians to remain faithful to the government.

He said the government led by John Mahama had left him with empty confessions, which required the adoption of pragmatic measures responding to the needs of all Ghanaians and as a result, a thirst for patience.

The president added that the region would get its fair share of the IDIF because it is committed to creating jobs in the region, especially when the IDIF initiative was first announced. in the district of Ajumako Enyan Essiam.

He urged, however, the leaders and the population to vote overwhelmingly for the NPP's administration by 2020, in particular by granting the parliamentary seat occupied by former Deputy Minister Casiel Ato Forson, the merit of the excellent work done by his government in this area.
