Leroy Fer made more than 100 appearances for the city of Swansea
The former captain of Swansea town, Leroy Fer, joined Feyenoord on a one year contract.
The 29-year-old midfielder was released by the championship team in May 2019, thus ending a three-year stay after signing with the Queen's Park Rangers.
The Dutch international was training with Feyenoord, after pbading through the Dutch youth system of Eredivisie before joining FC Twente.
"My heart is here, I am very happy to be back," said Fer on the Feyenoord website.
"I feel stronger and in better shape and I will do everything in my power to get back to my old level as quickly as possible so I have a great season with Feyenoord."
