Nominations for the outstanding women's awards in Ghana 2019 (GOWA) have been opened, as growing women will be honored in their respective field of activity during the year under consideration.
The second edition of the awards, whose theme is "Impact on Lives by Giving", will be dedicated to women in 20 categories, including Outstanding Woman of the Year, SHERO of the Year, Outstanding Woman Africa, exceptional woman DJ, exceptional woman in health, among others.
Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, President and CEO of GOWA, is pleased with the progress made by the awards programs, which recognize the efforts of women who give their best to society.
"We look forward to bringing the awards to a higher level by recognizing the efforts of women not only in Ghana but around the world," she said after announcing the creation of the Outstanding African Women's Award (AOWA). ) to be held in 2020.
