We know Rolots very well thanks to Small people, big world – and a ton has changed since the beginning of the show. While Matt and Amy Roloff started the show as a married couple, they divorced and now have new serious relationships. And that left the fate of Roloff Farms in question. The family business has been one of the pillars of the series since its inception, but with the divorce and their ever-changing lives, fans are wondering what will happen to the property now.
Fans would like Roloff Farms to stay in the family – and they hoped Jeremy could buy the property and take control of it. Unfortunately, Jeremy just said why he does not buy anytime soon.
After long deliberation, Amy Roloff sold his half of Roloff Farms to Matt
The last season of LPBW showed Amy grappling with her most difficult decision to date. Matt and she decided to divide the farm equally after the divorce, but they both knew it would be a temporary solution. For this reason, Amy had to decide if she wanted to stay on the property and keep the farmhouse in which she had lived for years, or if she would continue her life. During the final, we learned that Amy had chosen to sell her half and was now living at Roloff Farms until she bought a new house and moved out.
As Amy explained during the show: "The farm worked for me because two people did it. I can not do it myself. She also said she did not think "Matt made things easy", which also added to the stress. Her recent articles on Instagram show her in a good mood as she searches for a new home, so it looks like things are getting better.
Matt may not want to keep the farm once Amy moves out
Amy's has announced her future plan, but what about Matt? Although he still works a lot on the property and keeps it well maintained, we are not sure that he will maintain it. We can not forget that he called the farm a "burden" in the past. "There is a part of me that wants to keep the farm and build a house that suits me, but part of me just wants to sell the farm and sell it and move on. It's a burden, "In Touch Weekly reminded us.
Matt has also provided eloquent information in a comment on Instagram. He has a house in Arizona with his girlfriend, Caryn, and he told one of his supporters that he would like to leave the farm and move to several states. "I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to AZ full time. She died from fear of work and the attention that it would take [sic], He mentioned on this Instagram post.
Jeremy Roloff may not buy the farm, either
With two grandchildren and more on the way, LPBW fans would like Matt to keep the farm for the little ones. And there has been a lot of talk about the fact that maybe one of his children will take it away from him. Jeremy Roloff, his daughter, Ember, often goes to the farm, even mentioned his intention to buy a farm on Instagram. After recently attending the Young Living Essential Oils convention with his wife Audrey, he wrote: "I am totally inspired by the idea of eating healthier, of exercising regularly and of having a good time. buy a farm. "
Unfortunately, he does not seem to have Roloff Farms in mind. A fan asked, "Why not your family's farm?" And Jeremy responded with "very dear." Others have nevertheless hoped that something could be arranged, however. As one adept wrote: "Maybe his parents will eventually find an agreement with him to buy it … would not that be great? Then he could stay in the family so grandchildren can grow up on [sic]. "
We will have to wait to see what happens with Roloff Farms in the future. For the moment, we will enjoy it because Matt and Amy still live there!
