Prince Emmanuel SDA STEWARDS, the organizers of the event were congratulated for holding games considered by many as a great success

It was apparently difficult and almost impossible, but in the end, the Prince Emmanuel SDA church beat the tough competition of seven churches to become the final winner of the Connect Family Fun 2019 games.

Over the weekend, many people gathered at the El-Wak Stadium in Cantonment to try to keep pace with the SDA family entertainment games of Accra East District.

The euphoria was just staggering.

Eight churches are ready to surpbad themselves and outdo themselves for a higher price.

While the sun was shining on the beautiful green sports stadium of El-Wak, it was only a race against the clock for the final prize.

Prince Emmanuel SDA Church had a field day, becoming the delight of the competition from the start. They racked up more points on the competition from other churches to become the winning team.

The Labone SDA Church defeated defending champions SDA La-North on penalties in the football match, ending their glorious one-year reign as the winner of the trophy last year.

Osu's contending rivals did not stop there. They proved to be very great and also won women's volleyball.

The Garrison SDA Church dominated the men's volleyball category and finished third in the medal standings.

The reigning North Dako Church could only win a fourth place in the competition.

The children also benefited from many secondary attractions such as bouncy castle, face painting, video games and cotton candy.

OSU Bethel, 37 Bandline, Day Spring and The South SDA had everything to fight at the bottom of the standings.

"All in all, the games were a huge success, we came to have fun with the family and, in fact, it's a win-win situation for all competitors," said Lesley Israel, one of the organizers games."

STEWARDS, the organizers of the event were congratulated for the staging of games considered by many as a great success.

At the same time next year, the eight SDA churches in the eastern district of Accra will gather again for another carnival.
