The YEA Ambbadadors Team
Rufftown Records singer Wendy Shay joined the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) team to visit Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The team consisting of YEA's board of directors, management and some ambbadadors visited Manhyia Palace on Friday, July 26, 2019.
In addition to Shay, the other ambbadadors present were Kwesi Arthur, Bola Ray, Emelia Brobbey, Bibi Bright and Becca Donkor.
According to YEA board chairman Sammy Awuku, who announced the visit on social media, the goal was mainly to present the new programs and initiatives of the agency to the respected king.
"The leaders of the YEA took the opportunity to present the new flagship program and the agency's initiatives in Otumfuo, and the wise king also urged us not to let the younger generation fall. commended our determination to help Nana Addo's government to support such programs to reduce poverty and combat youth unemployment.
On our side, we have badured our determination to carry out these initiatives for the sake of our youth, "read in part the post of Awuku on Facebook.
According to the photos shared by Awuku, Shay dressed decently unlike the last time she and her team had visited former President J.A. Kufuor.
It will be remembered that Shay has recently been the subject of much criticism for visiting Kufuor in an outfit that many people have deemed indecent.
After sharing a photo in which Kufuor was caught looking at her chest, the singer quickly removed it, causing a stir on social media. Many people have strongly criticized him for his lack of respect towards the former president.
As a result of this saga, Shay, who would later apologize, would have been removed from the role of ambbadador after her names, Kwesi Arthur and herself, had blatantly disappeared from a list published by the Agency. .
However, the agency later denied having taken her and she seems to have learned the lessons from her lesson.
