The Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000 for laptops is a professional graphics card designed for large and heavy laptops. It is based on the same chip as the mainstream GeForce RTX 2070, but with certified drivers for professional applications, lower clock speeds, and slower but larger graphics memory.

The TU106 chip is manufactured in 12 nm and offers a number of new features, such as DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and real-time ray tracing. It also supports DisplayPort 1.4 (ready), HDMI 2.0b, HDR, simultaneous multi-projection (SMP) and H.265 (PlayReady 3.0) video decoding and encoding.

The theoretical performance should be slightly lower than that of a GeForce RTX 2070. However, in some professional applications, Quadro drivers in the RTX 3000 help improve performance.
With a TDP of 80 watts, the Quadro RTX 3000 requires much less than the more powerful 4000 and 5000 RTX GPUs, but it is still suitable only for large laptops.
