Alisson's message to Liverpool as the Reds confirm the return of the key trio to the club

Liverpool has confirmed that key trio Alisson, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will be back in the club to begin pre-season training.

And it seems that the Brazilian goalkeeper is eager to start.

All three were in action for their country in their home country this summer, with Alisson and Firmino playing for the host country, Brazil at Copa America, and Salah in action for Egypt, where they have hosted the Africa Cup of Nations.

This is only the Brazilian duo for which everything went as planned, because the duo played a key role in the first victory of the South American Championship of Selecao since 2007.

Alisson conceded that only one goal in the tournament – a penalty in the 3-1 win against Peru in the final -, while Firmino scored two goals while the local team raised the trophy.

However, the situation was a little different for Salah, while Egypt, Egypt's favorite, withdrew from the African Cup of Nations with a 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the last match.

Salah and the Brazilian duo will now travel to Evian on Monday for Liverpool's pre-season training camp in eastern France, where the team will travel after Sunday's friendly match against the Italian Napoli club in Murrayfield, Edinburgh, where the Scottish rugby team.
