He was already replaced by Zach Aguilar (A punch, Hunter X Hunter) for the same role in mobile gaming Hero of the fire emblem. For a moment, however, it was unclear when he was also going to be replaced in the latest entry of the Fire Emblem franchise until Nintendo of America told several media in a statement:
"After evaluating the situation, we decided to re-record the characters' voice over in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes with another actor, and the new voiceovers will be included in a future patch."

It does not seem like Nintendo is planning to release the game of tablets like what Sega did with Judgment in Japan after the arrest of one of his actors. Ryu ga Gotoku Studios had to, after all, completely replace the model of his character in the game. That said, it is not entirely clear if Aguilar will also replace Niosi Three houses. At the time of writing these lines, his IMDB page states that he is also expressing the male version of the game's customizable protagonist.
